Cubs Acquire Chapman from The Yankees
Boston Red Sox v New York Yankees
In an effort to win it all this season, the Chicago Cubs today acquired fire-balling relieve pitcher Aroldis Chapman from the New York Yankees according to MLB Network. In exchange for Chapman, the Cubs sent shortstop Gleyber Torres, outfielder Billy McKinney, right-hander Adam Warren and likely one more player to the Yankees according to MLB Network's Jon Heyman.
Torres was the Cub's #1 prospect and McKinney was their #5 ranked prospect. Warren returns to the Yankees after being traded to the Cubs for Starlin Castro.
Chapman, who the Yankees acquired last off season, is 3-0 with a 2.01 ERA and 20 saves this year. He will be a free agent at the end of this season.
