A label mix-up has led to the voluntarily recall of nearly 4,185 pounds of Campbell's chicken soup, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The mix-up was discovered after customers complained to Campbell that they had received about the wrong product in 18.6-oz. cans of "Campbell's Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta." Instead consumers found "Campbell's Homestyle Healthy Request Italian-Style Wedding Spinach & Meatballs in Chicken Broth."

The product contains milk, a known allergen that is not declared on the product label. The USDA says there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions to using the product.

In a separate action, Frito-Lay voluntarily has recalled some jalapeno-flavored potato chips because of the potential presence of salmonella in the seasoning. The recall applies to Jalapeno Flavored Lay's Kettle Cooked and Jalapeno Flavored Miss Vickie's Kettle Cooked potato chips.
