Blues Fans, Keokuk is the Place to Be This Weekend
OK, blues fans, this is one weekend you won’t want to miss as the 24th Annual “Rollin on The River” Blues Festival will be held at Victory Park below the Keokuk-Hamilton Bridge. This year’s lineup is loaded with some great talent nationally and locally.
The blues music kicks off at 7 tonight with Serious Business, the 2012 Iowa Blues Challenge runners-up, followed by Craig Erickson and head liner Eric Sardinas. Saturday’s lineup begins at 6pm with the Mahoney Cousins from Quincy, the Pain Killers, Iowa's 2012 Blues Challenge winner, plus Demetria Taylor and The Nighhawks.
Tickets are $15 a night or $25 for a weekend pass at the gate. Advance weekend passes for just $22 can be purchased at Hy-Vee, Lumpy’s Tap, Keaslings and Meister Music in Keokuk or Hy-Vee and Thurman Music in Fort Madison.
Bring your lawn furniture and blankets and enjoy some great blues music and food all weekend in Keokuk. No pets, cans, bottles or coolers please.
