Yes, Missouri Has an Adults-Only Pool, But You Should Be Careful

I'm not saying that you should go to this adults-only pool in Missouri and I'm not saying you shouldn't either. I can confirm that the pool is really exquisite and it is adults-only at night, but there are other things you should know based on what some visitors have shared.

I am a family man and I enjoy having kids around. Not everyone feels that way and no doubt there are some parents who would love to get away to an adults-only place in Missouri for a weekend. This place offers that option.

This is The Last Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. It features a rooftop bar and hotel restaurant and after 6pm, there are no kids allowed here. You're not allowed to bring any guests to the pool either.

First, let's focus on the positives. There are very few views of St. Louis that will top what you'll see at this pool at night.

Here's what you should beware of according to numerous reviewers on Trip Advisor. While some are glowing like one person who said "the rooftop is so cool. I am very happy it is adult only. They don't even advertise a pool but glad they have an amazing one".

Others were...not pleased. Kimberly B warned "this hotel is in a terrible neighborhood. Unsafe and incredibly loud at night". She was not alone. Guido C talked about his bad experience in that part of St. Louis "after the car was stolen". Jon D added "Our car along with 9 others were broken into". There must be an epidemic of vehicular thefts and crime as Shalen L said "a terrible area and multiple cars were broken into last night".

I would recommend checking out the official website and maybe drive by this historic St. Louis hotel next time you're in town to assess the neighborhood for yourself. Every business has a bad day every once in awhile, but when I see so many people talking about the dangerous neighborhood and car damage/theft problems, I feel like this adult-only getaway option needs to come with a disclaimer.
