It is that time of year again as we transition from summer into fall and eventually winter.  With it comes the flu season. Last year was a particularly tough year for people suffering from the flu and the Adams County Health Department (A.C.H.D.) is hoping to alleviate some of the flu problems this year with several scheduled flu clinics.

The A.C.H.D. has six scheduled dates for people to take advantage of getting their flu shots to help prevent from getting the flu this season. The cost is $25 per vaccine and $45 for a high dose vaccine. Most insurance companies have a $0 co-pay if you get a shot. The Adams County Health department will bill bill for Illinois Medicaid and medicare but you must bring your insurance card with you at the time the shot is administered.

Quincy Senior & Family Resource Center...Wednesday Sept. 26, 2018 3pm to 6pm

John Wood Community College Drive-Thru.....Sunday Sept. 30, 2018 11am to 1pm

Mendon Grade School ........Tuesday Oct. 2, 2018 3pm to 5:30pm

Liberty School .....................Wednesday Oct. 3, 2018 3pm to 5:30pm

Camp Point High School ....Wednesday Oct. 10, 2018 3pm to 5:30pm

Payson Grade School ........Tuesday Oct. 23, 2018 3pm to 5:30pm
