Creepy Walk Inside Abandoned Chicago, Illinois Hospital & Morgue
Are you brave enough to take a stroll through an abandoned Chicago, Illinois hospital? What about the morgue inside? A few days ago some urban explorers did just that and shared what they experienced inside.
This building used to be the MetroSouth Hospital located in Blue Island, Illinois that closed its doors back in 2019. Much of the building is still intact 6 years later with what looks like millions of dollars of equipment left inside yet to be recovered. Decaying Midwest just shared video a few days ago of what remains.

Despite the fact that I have was given the nickname of "Doc" about 38 years ago, I am not a medical expert (shocking, I know) and have no idea what kind of value medical equipment like the types that were left inside this former hospital are worth. I'm guessing someone somewhere could refurbish much of what remains inside this hospital. Let's hope something can be done to utilize this waste before real decay begins.
