The number of COVID-19 cases around northeast Missouri and western Illinois continues to climb.

In Pike County, Illinois, health department officials reported 38 new coronavirus cases Monday, 20 females, age 10 to 100s and 18 males age 10 to 70s.

There have been 373 total COVID cases in Pike County, with eight hospitalized, and six deaths.

The Marion County Health Department reported 35 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing their total to 960, with 121 active cases, seven hospitalized, 825 recovered and 14 deaths.

The Marion County positivity rate for the week ending October 18th is 15%.

Officials in Clark County report nine new COVID cases since Friday, ranging in age from zero to 80-plus, along with one Clark County R-1 student.

Clark County reports 168 total cases, with 19 active, four hospitalized, 126 recovered and four deaths.

Ralls County reports seven new COVID cases since Friday. Their total cases now stand at 227, with 18 active, five hospitalized, 209 recovered and no deaths.

And, the Hancock County Health Department reported five new lab-confirmed coronavirus cases Monday, one male in his 50s and four females from under 10 to their 70s.

The Hancock County COVID total is now 332, with 54 active cases, 274 recovered and four deaths.
