2020 Hannibal Autumn Historic Folklife Festival Cancelled

Another marquee area autumn event has fallen victim to COVID-19.

In a brief Facebook post Sunday, the Hannibal Arts Council announced the cancellation of the 2020 Hannibal Folklife Festival.

The post stated the HAC Board of Directors had watched, waited, discussed, monitored and agonized before making what they called a difficult and heart-wrenching decision.

The festival has served as a showcase for old time crafts and as a major fundraiser for a number of area non-profit organizations.

The next Folklife Festival will be October 16^th and 17^th of 2021.
