According to Wikipedia.org, the Taste is the Largest Food festival in the World, and it is also the largest festival that Chicago hosts annually. I have written many articles about the times that you SHOULDN'T travel to my hometown of Chicago, specifically Air and Water Show weekend, and Lollapalooza weekend, BUT Taste of Chicago is worth the travel and the crowds. There are sooo many different food options available at your fingertips from some of the best and most iconic food spots in the city, plus it's free to get in, Grant Park is a beautiful setting, and there is always great live entertainment throughout The Taste. Take it from a born and raised Chicagoan, you won't regret taking a trip to Chicago for The Taste.
