When Does School Start in Hannibal, MO?

Back-to-school season is underway. When does school start in Hannibal, Missouri? The Hannibal Public Schools website says that classes begin on August 22.

Sports schedules are also available online from Schedulestar.com. The annual Hannibal High School Football Jamboree will be on August 23. Bowling Green, Clark County R-1, and Highland High School will all be participating. The Pirates will play the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders at Porter Stadium on August 30.

Hannibal's Cross Country team will begin their season by traveling to Maryland Heights, Missouri on August 28 for Fleet Feet at Quail Ridge.

Girls varsity tennis will open their season on the road against Fulton High School on August 29. Their first home match will be against Palmyra High School on September 5.

The first girls varsity softball game of the season is scheduled for August 29 in Boonville, Missouri. The Lady Pirates will have a home match against Moberly on September 3.

Boys varsity soccer opens the season at home against Elsberry on September 6.

The Hannibal boys swimming team will travel to Ladue Horton Watkins High School for the Ladue Boys Swimming Invitational on September 7.

The Hannibal Lady Pirates volleyball team will take part in the St. Charles West Tournament on September 14.
