6 Sinister Missouri Serial Killers That Were Never Caught

Missouri has sadly had many serial killers who became famous because of their dastardly deeds. What's more frightening are the half dozen who took many lives, but were never captured and remain at large to this day.

There is always the hope that someone somewhere has information that will bring the following villains to justice. I came across the following on the Kansas City, Missouri sub-Reddit. It's the story of 5 serial killers who took 42 known victims between 1980 and 1990. Only 1 of those killers was identified and captured.

The Riverfront Times told the story of another serial killer that was never identified who murdered 3 women in the St. Louis, Missouri area of Maryland Heights in October of 1990. All 3 victims died of asphyxiation. The only clue the killer left behind was graffiti that said "Sorry Kym". No one was ever accused of those terrible murders.

Finally, the most infamous unidentified Missouri serial killer is the person responsible for multiple murders along I-70 in the 1990's. Even A&E featured a special program trying to identify the person who has become known as the I-70 killer. From April of 1992 through May of that year, 6 store clerks along I-70 were killed by a singular person. It remains one of the most infamous unsolved crimes in America and it cut a path of tragedy straight across Missouri more than 30 years ago.
