Two LaGrange women are charged in connection with an alleged altercation that took place over the weekend.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish reports deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in progress Saturday in LaGrange.

An investigation revealed that 48 year olds Melissa McGlauchlen and Chassie Young had been involved in a physical altercation.

McGlauchlen was taken to the Clark County Jail on a 24 hour hold.

Both McGlauchlen and Young were charged with third degree domestic assault.
McGlauchlen was released on bond.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.
