The Tri-State Rodeo in Fort Madison, Iowa has officially been canceled, here are the details you need to know...

Another massive event here in the Tri-States has been canceled this year due to the coronavirus, this time it is the 2020 Tri-State Rodeo which takes place in Fort Madison, Iowa. The Rodeo was originally scheduled for September 9th through the 12th, with Country Music superstar Trace Adkins headlining on Saturday night the 12th.

In a statement posted on the Tri-State Rodeo's Facebook page they say...

"The health and safety of the Tri-State Rodeo’s patrons, volunteers, performers, and our community is the single most important thing to us. Since we first began evaluating and implementing protective measures against the COVID-19 pandemic, our home county has seen a significant increase in the rate of COVID positive cases...Upon thorough review of the most recent data available and careful consideration of the community’s input, we have made the unfortunate but ultimately necessary decision to cancel the 2020 Tri-State Rodeo. We truly believe this to be the safest and most responsible course of action. We understand that this will doubtlessly be a disappointment to many, but we are also confident that everyone will recognize that our highest priority at all times is the well-being of everyone involved."

They go on to say that there will be a Rodeo in 2021 and they hope for it to be the biggest and best ever Tri-State Rodeo, to read the full statement from the Tri-State Rodeo on their 2020 Cancellation, check out their Facebook page by clicking here!
