Missouri Hotel Named One of the Top 10 New Places in America

If you're a traveler who frequents the Branson, Missouri area, there's good news as one of the newer hotels in that area was just voted by readers of a major website as one of the top 10 in America.

Over the past few months, USA Today asked their audience to rate new hotels around the United States. This could be any hotel anyplace in the country and when all the votes were tallied, a Branson, Missouri hotel was declared among the elite.

Congrats to The Ozarker Lodge - Branson, Missouri, the 7th best new hotel in America according to USA Today. The ranking says that it excels by "offering vintage accommodations that stir up nostalgia of family road trips, along with modern amenities like an outdoor pool, creek-side soaking tubs, and on-site mercantile shop". I've bolded the nostalgia part of that because the wood finishings do remind me of the times when my mom and dad would take me to Branson and we'd end up in a very 1960's looking motel or hotel. This one is much nicer and fancier than those.

To give you an idea of what a special result this is for this Branson, Missouri place, the others in the top 10 were from big places such as New York, Chicago and California. Tiny little Branson representing Missouri in a big way.

I always put more stock in rankings like this that come from the audience and not a lone blogger giving their opinion. When your audience applauds you, you must be doing something right.
