Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers, and when they are in bloom it's a sight to see. The flower symbolizes adoration, loyalty, and longevity, and its namesake is from the sun itself. I never had the space for any sunflowers, but plenty of farms throughout the state can offer you your "Sunflower fix" with large fields filled with them.

So if you're looking for that great family photo, an Instagram photo opp., or just want to see these flowers and all their glory, it's time. However, you better hurry, Sunflowers only last between six to twelve days, here's farms throughout Illinois that offer you a chance to see these beautiful flowers.

Remember, these flowers will not last long so take a weekend, pile the family in the car and enjoy these beautiful flowers while you can.
