I think most of us who've been to a Major League Baseball game held onto the hope that at some point we'd get a chance to catch a foul ball, or better yet, a home run shot.

Twenty four years ago last Wednesday the last lightless Major League baseball park became lighted. Wrigley Field turned the lights on for the first time on August 8th, 1988 only to have the game against the Philadelphia Phillies get rained out after 3 and a half innings of play.
