The US Marshals just completed a massive operation that resulted in the arrest of over 3,400 violent fugitives and that included many in St. Louis, Missouri and East St. Louis, Illinois.
The US Marshals have a way of finding you no matter where you run. That just happened to an attempted murder suspect wanted from Ohio who was located hiding in Madison, Wisconsin.
Just because someone claims to be a US Marshals does not make them one. The real US Marshals are warning Missouri residents there are currently fake agents spoofing them trying to rip them off.
A man had escaped from a Saint Louis, Missouri prison in November of 2023 and had remained at large until just recently when US Marshals took him down after locating him in Arkansas.
A woman lost her life from a gunshot wound in June in an East St. Louis, Illinois street and the suspect who is alleged to be responsible for the crime was on the run. However, US Marshals have now captured the Illinois man who allegedly is her killer.
I would imagine the goal of anyone on the run fleeing from the law would be to blend in and appear anonymous. That will likely prove difficult for one Illinois man being sought by the US Marshals as he has a very distinctive identifier. It's a large and very obvious chest tattoo.
There are a few less violent criminals on the streets of Wisconsin thanks to a surprise operation just completed by the United States Marshals. They just dropped the hammer on 260 violent criminals in the southeastern part of the state.
