The summer college baseball league with a long-time presence in the area has announced its conference and divisional alignments for 2021.

The Hannibal Hoots were forced to consider a number of options including relocation following the devastating floods of 2019. According to a KHQA report, one of those options appears to be O'Fallon, Missouri.

The Prospect League has announced that a new team will join the league this coming summer in Normal, Illinois.

The final home game of the regular season for the Quincy Gems is tonight as they host their rivals in the Hannibal Hoots.

Quincy Gems owner Jimmie Louthan has named his head coach and assistant coach for the upcoming 2018 Prospect League season.

The owners of the new Hannibal franchise of the Prospect League revealed the new name of the team as well as their new logo for the organization this morning.

A week ago Monday, I scheduled the day off and I took my daughter, son-in-law and grand kids to the Peoria Chiefs baseball game at Dozer Field in downtown Peoria.

Some extremely talented high school or college baseball players will be hanging by their phone Monday waiting for "That" call to come from a Major League team.  Yes, the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft begins Monday and can be seen on the MLB TV Network.
