The heavy rains in northeast Missouri result in numerous road closures around the area.

The heavy rains in the area have forced several roads to be closed in Northeast Missouri according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The Missouri Department of Transportation ( MoDOT ) has temporarily closed US 61 at Alexandria in Clark County due to water over the road. A marked detour is in place to advise motorists of the road closure and alternate routes.
