I am one of the most passionate guys when it comes to the love of the game of baseball. I love everything about America's pastime, but as I hear of the staggering numbers some of the game's superstars are making, I shake my head in disbelief.

Last week the baseball world was spinning with word that free agent Manny Machado had signed a 10-year contract with the San Diego Padres for $300-million.
