I heard another request for people to help man the Salvation Army kettles in the area for this Christmas and it reminded me of what I wrote last year on this topic. So I started to write about this need again and after reviewing last year's writing I realize there isn't anything new I could add. So instead of re-writing it, I thought I would just repost it.
