It's nice to see that celebrities who have made it big were born and raised in Iowa and continue to represent the beautiful state.

When he was in his heyday, there were few that could rival Johnny Carson. He was known as the king of late night for decades for a reason. But, there was one time when even Johnny would likely have admitted that an Illinois farmer stole the show.

For you Illinoisans, before you get a group up and head across the Bayview or Mark Twain Bridges for a long-awaited restaurant excursion, you might plan on a wait.

October 2 marked the 63rd Anniversary of the Tonight Show on NBC. Believe it or not, I actually have played a very minor role in the show’s success under Jay Leno.

This week marked the 73rd birthday of Alex Trebek who announced earlier this year that he was going to be leaving as host of the long standing television show 'Jeopardy.'
