Anyone who needs a meal in Hannibal can get one as the COVID-19 crisis continues to create economic hardship for residents.

As of today, March 18, the HNC is starting up a drive-thru service so that senior citizens can continue to get a hot, nutritious meal.

In order to protect senior citizens who are the most vulnerable segment of the population to the COVID-19 virus, the Hannibal Nutrition Center has shut down its congregate meal service until April 14.

Get your team together and golf for a great cause in Hannibal. The Debbie Catlett Memorial Golf Tournament is coming up at 10 a.m., Monday, September 23 at the Hannibal Country Club. Proceeds benefit the Hannibal Nutrition Center's Meals on Wheels program.

Along with the usual array of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter services at churches around the area from Thursday night through Sunday morning, there are other traditional Easter events this weekend worthy of mention.
