Gas Prices

Isn't funny that gas prices went up 15 cents a gallon earlier this week?  Is there anyone on the planet who didn't expect that to happen as we all load up our cars to travel over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend?

The bi-weekly check of gas prices nationally shows the price at the pump continues to rise.

The price of a gallon of unleaded gas continues to go up nationwide and here at home.

I am sure you noticed the price of a gallon of gas took a huge leap this week. There is always some lame excuse as to why when this happens. So instead of listening to them, I have come up with my own top 10 reasons why gas prices went up.

Just two days ago the price for a gallon of gasoline in Quincy was $3.28 a gallon. Forty-eight hours later it went up and now it jumped again today.  Gas is now $3.39 a gallon in the city.

Gas prices have been a sour footnote in the public’s budget for awhile. However, there may actually be some hope in sight.

With gas prices in Quincy climbing to $4.10 a gallon earlier this week,  I wrote on Facebook that we all should steal a page from the movie "Network" and open our windows and yell collectively..."I'm mad as hell and I am not gonna take it anymore".
