The Missouri skies could be exciting on the 4th of July and not just because of fireworks.

Picture this: families gathered around, fireworks lighting up the sky, and laughter echoing through the streets—Missouri knows how to celebrate the 4th.

Anyone want to come over and shoot off some Neighbor Haters? How about lighting some Freedom Flames?

Fireworks might be a no-go in Illinois, but there are still plenty of ways to light up the holiday without risking a fine.

Missouri has just made the state's fireworks laws quite a bit stricter.

A few years ago I had to catch a flight out of Chicago in the middle of a raging snowstorm. That was nothing apparently compared to what just happened a few days ago when a jet taking off from the Windy City flew right through a big fireworks display.

If you enjoy fireworks, you almost certainly will be attending a display on the 4th of July. But, did you know that if you want to see the largest fireworks display in Missouri, you'll need to plan your sky viewing for a different day later this year? I can prove it with science.
