One donut creation in Missouri has risen above all the others to be named the best in America.

It was a marriage that was destined to happen: burgers and donuts. That union will be a reality soon at some Illinois McDonalds as they reportedly will be offering Krispy Kreme Donuts, too.

Having been born and raised in Missouri, it's not news to me that things are done differently here. But, even I was a little surprised when self-proclaimed internet experts said the best donut in Missouri is a square one.

I've never met a donut I didn't like. Perhaps you can understand that pastry emotion. If so, you might be interested to know that science (and the internet) has declared where the best donuts in Missouri are. Let's investigate.

Everyone loves donuts and when I say "everyone" that includes creatures, too. I can prove it with a video shared by what I believe is a driver in Illinois showing a squirrel who had made off with a big ole donut and was scarfing it in a nearby tree.
