The Adams County Health Department ,along with the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control, is recommending annual flu vaccinations for everyone 6 months and older.
This week is National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week! According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly half a million children living in the United States have elevated blood lead levels that may cause significant damage to their health.
The Adams County Health Department, along with the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), is recommending an annual flu vaccination for everyone 6 months and older. The flu vaccine is available Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm. The Health Department will also be offering several public flu clinics for adults and children in the community.
