I have two thoughts about what I'll admit is a funny way that a citizen of the British Isles just described the United States. Specifically, it's their one word description of Wisconsin that is both accurate (most of the time) and also a bit limiting.

It's true. The one thing that everyone possesses is an opinion. I have no problem with a recent British visitor who had two words to describe Illinois, but he/she/it should have been more polite about it.

There's an old saying that if you can't say something nice, you shouldn't say anything at all. A serf in the kingdom of Britain apparently wasn't taught that as a youngster and decided to label Missouri with just two rude words.

I'll share something with you as soon as I stop laughing which might be awhile. OK, I think I'm ready now. What I'm about to state is as true as it is funny. Illinois was just named the most dysfunctional state in America by the British.
