Avenue of Lights

The lights for the 2013 edition of the Avenue of Lights will be turned off for this holiday season tomorrow night. The Avenue of Lights is located in the Wavering/Moorman Park complex with more than 350 separate pieces and over 15 miles of lights illuminated. It is almost that time of year, a time when the family and friends pile into the family car and drive through the incredible Avenue of Lights.  Beginning Thanksgiving night, November 28, and running through January 1, the  Avenue of Lights will take over the Wavering/Moorman Park complex with more than 350 separate pieces and over 15 miles of lights.

As the weather turns cooler, we turn our attention toward the upcoming winter season, and all the fun things to do around the holidays! Here is a list of fun upcoming activities scheduled in the Quincy area.

The Annual Avenue of Lights opens Thanksgiving night with over 100 lighted displays in Moorman and Wavering Parks in Quincy. This year’s Avenue of Lights is the biggest, brightest and most animated yet!
