What you're about to see is not from Texas even though it looks like something that would be way more common in the Lonestar State. It's an armadillo that was spotted on the run in extreme east-central Illinois and I have a photo to prove it.
The armadillos are coming. The armadillos are coming. Actually, they're already here and there's evidence they may be mounting an effort to take over Missouri. I'll present my case as to why I am convinced this is the case.
When I think of armadillos, I immediately think of Texas. Maybe I should reconsider as a recent trail cam video in Missouri shows these armored critters are becoming more common in the Show Me State now.
Apparently, due to a number of factors Armadillos are migrating further north which is why the animal that is famously southern can now be found in the Land of Lincoln, and if you see one you should report it.
