The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Marion County kicks off its 2020 fundraising campaign on Tuesday, January 14 from 6 – 9 pm at The Rebel Pig in Palmyra.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Adams County will host a community kickoff on February 2nd at 6:00 p.m at ONE: Special Event Venue (formerly ONE: Bar & Restaurant), 600 Hampshire in Quincy.
Today will mark the American Cancer Society’s 40th Great America Smoke-out. It is a day to encourage smokers to make a plan to quit smoking, at least for today, if not longer, and hopefully forever. By quitting, even for one day, smokers will be taking an important step towards a healthier life, one that can lead to reducing a cancer risk.

On February 10, the Palmyra Youth and The Flower Children Relay For Life Teams are hosting "Pink Out The Gym" night during the varsity basketball games as the Palmyra Panthers and Lady Panthers host the Monroe City Panthers and Lady Panthers at Palmyra High School at 6 p.m.
