Air Force Thunderbirds

If you've never seen the United States Air Force Thunderbirds perform, you'll get your chance in Missouri during the summer of 2024.

This year’s “Speed of Sound” airshow will be held this weekend at Rosecrans Memorial Airport in St. Joseph and will feature an appearance by the United States Air Force Thunderbirds.

You might have to travel a bit to see an Air Force Thunderbirds or Navy Blue Angels air show this year.

If you are looking for a great and inexpensive family event to attend, make it an air show featuring the Navy Blue Angels or the Air Force Thunderbirds.

If you are heading to Chicago this weekend be prepared to hear loud noises as the Air Force Thunderbirds will be buzzing the Windy City as part of the 60th Annual Chicago Air & Water Show on Saturday & Sunday.

There is nothing more exhilarating than to be at an airshow featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds or the Navy Blue Angels. Both have announced their spring and summer schedules.

It is funny what some people will do and what they won't do. A case in point is me.

Two years ago I wrote a scathing article criticizing the government for cancelling all of the Air Force Thunderbirds and the Navy Blue Angels performances in 2013. Well, after that year off due to government cutbacks, the Air Force Thunderbirds and the Navy Blue Angels resumed their high flying acrobatic shows all over the United States last year and are ready again this year.
