Summer vs. Winter Olympics? (Poll)

The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil get underway this Friday with hundreds of hours of broadcast coverage presented by NBC. It led me to ask some of my friends if they preferred the Summer Olympic Games over the Winter Olympic Games? My friends all responded "the Summer Olympics". I for one would rather watch the Winter Games instead. Most polls and ratings will show that the Summer Games are more popular primarily because there are more contests than the Winter games and those events occur in warmer weather where most people reside.

Even though I prefer the Winter Games, the question still intrigues me so I will ask it of you.  Do you prefer the Summer Olympics over the Winter Olympics?
