I am glad there are much smarter people than me in the world. That's because there was a strange streak that appeared over Missouri during the overnight hours into early Tuesday morning and there are theories from the educated about what took place.

Dan Bush of Missouri Skies on YouTube captured this interesting video of what appeared over Albany, Missouri at approximately 3:02am Tuesday morning, August 6, 2024.

He mentions in the title and description that it could be a satellite propellent dump, but I've been unable to confirm anything. I did find a reported fireball on the American Meteor Society website that was visible over Missouri and Kansas at around the same time frame, but it's not the same object. This is video that was captured in Hays, Kansas of that event.

Dan's theory seems to make the most sense as it does look like what you would expect fuel from a rocket to appear like. Hopefully we'll get some confirmation from SpaceX or whatever agency is responsible for this rocket/object to determine what many saw during the early morning hours today.
