St. Louis’ TopGolf Is Opening Sooner Than We Thought!
If you’re the kind of person that had any interest in this whatsoever prior to right this instant, you’ve probably heard that St. Louis (Chesterfield, specifically) is getting a TopGolf entertainment venue.
What you might NOT know is that the super fun attraction is opening way sooner than any of us anticipated. According to an article on KMOV.com, the area’s first TopGolf will be open on August 3.
I’ve only been…ummm…TopGolfing?...yeah….I’ve only been TopGolfing once before, and it is an absolute blast for expert golfers and lousy golfers alike (I can attest specifically to the latter). It’s basically a driving range with electronic targets that tally your scores in a variety of different golf games. There’s food, drinks, live entertainment, and likely plenty of deals and special events. If you’ve never been, I HIGHLY recommend it.
Prices start out at $20 to rent a bay for one hour (up to six people can play at one time per bay). Like bowling balls at a bowling alley, there will be plenty of free rental clubs to choose, but you're more than welcome to bring your own.
There are 41 locations in the world (38 of which are in the United States) but up until now the closest to our vicinity have been Kansas City and Naperville. While the Chesterfield Valley isn’t exactly in your backyard, it’s less than a two-hour drive straight down 61. It’s a three story building right off the highway (you won’t miss it).
