You never know what might be waiting outside of your back door when you live in the Missouri countryside. That's what just happened to a Missouri guy who looked outside and expressed bewildered awe when he saw 5 bucks chasing what he called "a hot doe".

According to his video description, this man has a 575 acre Southern Missouri Ozarks farm. Fortunately, he also has a phone camera, too, which he put to good use when he stepped outside of his place and saw buck after buck after buck stroll by right after a doe was spotted sprinting by him.

Why all the competition for just one doe?

This is the time of year that Missouri hunters salivate over as the deer rut is in full swing. If you're not up on your buck vernacular, that translates into these bucks out looking for a mate and they see everything and everyone as a competitor. The rut is commonly known to be at its peak now through the end of November at least.

The archery part of Missouri's deer hunting season continues through November 15 with another firearms season beginning December 7 through December 15 according to the Missouri Department of Conservation.  You can expect that many a bowhunter would love to have the vantage point of this Missouri man with so many bucks traveling across his land.
