Something Odd is Happening at Silver Dollar City Involving Sharks
I'm going to ask a question that I don't yet have an answer to. What in the world is going on at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri and sharks? Something is up and I can prove it.
I first saw this shark drama playing out when Silver Dollar City shared news of an upcoming announcement on their Facebook page yesterday. Their first comment shocked me.
But wait, there's more. Today, the park teased an announcement that's upcoming on October 17 which probably has something to do with the 1,200 acres they purchased where those abandoned mansions used to be. Look at the comments if you can and notice the large number of shark references again!
Was there a shark sighting and/or attack at Silver Dollar City that I somehow missed out on? I'm in the dark here and really must know why this shark drama is happening.
I think I may now understand what's happening. I Google's "Silver Dollar City" and "sharks" (which I highly recommend doing) and found a Springfield News-Leader article from 4 years ago about rumors of sharks invading Silver Dollar City's Mystic River.
Note to Silver Dollar City: If there are sharks in Mystic River, I am so making a beeline to your park to investigate next Spring. In the meantime, big applause to all the shark commenters on social media. Thank you for getting this (shark) party started. I can't wait to be a part of it myself.
