Actually, it was Decaying Midwest that just did an investigation into a mansion in Illinois that includes some curious hidden rooms and areas. The video description infers that he recently fled the country and left this very retro 1960's era mansion behind.

Check out the pics and you'll see all kinds of interesting tiny rooms. Note they don't give out exact location information to keep others from following in their footsteps. If I had to guess, I'd estimate it's somewhere in the suburbs southwest of Chicago, but that's just me guessing.

Why did this Russian oligarch suddenly just up and leave behind a place like this in Illinois? What was the purpose of the small areas hidden behind bookcases and doors? Panic rooms or something else? So many questions.
