Missouri Place Known for Bottomless Fries Closing 70 Restaurants?
If you're a fan of French fries, you'll likely be very disappointed to hear a chain with numerous Missouri locations is reportedly planning to close 70 restaurants.
I saw this report shared by Restaurant Dive today. They say that a once-popular restaurant chain is now planning to close 70 restaurant locations, but it's not quite as dire as it sounds when you read the details.
The chain in question is Red Robin which the story says will close 70 restaurants which sounds alarming. Here are the details that make this not really that bad. The speculation says that Red Robin will focus on underperforming restaurants which is the same thing many other restaurant brands have done. This closing process will happen over the next 5 years which means you likely won't see one of their Missouri locations closing overnight.
According to the official Red Robin website, they currently still have 11 locations open in Missouri.
- Chesterfield
- Dardenne Prairie
- Des Peres
- Fenton
- Independence
- Kansas City
- Liberty
- O'Fallon
- Richmond Heights
- Springfield
- St Peters
The speculation shared today by Restaurant Dive does not mention which locations will be affected by the expected Red Robin closings. If a Missouri location ends up on the closure list, this will be updated to reflect that. In the meantime, enjoy those bottomless fries.
