Q.F.D. Selling Breast Cancer Awareness Shirts
For the seventh year in a row the Quincy Fire Department is selling long and short sleeved shirts and hoodies to benefit the Blessing Hospital Cancer Center. The Quincy Fire Department is again selling special designed Navy Blue shirts to bring awareness to the fight against Breast Cancer. The “Still in The Fight against Breast Cancer” shirts, designed by Quincy firefighter Mike Dade, can be pre-ordered now at the Central Fire Station at 9th and Vermont.
The cost is $15 for a short sleeved shirt, $20 for a long-sleeved shirt and $25 for Hoodies. The shirts come in a to 4x sizes. All proceeds go to the Blessing Hospital Breast Cancer Center Financial Assistance Program. I had the opportunity to talk with Quincy firefighter Jerry Smith about the shirt campaign.
