A day after severe storms impacted much of southern Missouri, some areas are still dealing with the aftereffects including Potosi, Missouri which is experiencing terrible flooding.

Accuweather just shared this crazy video captured by Jeremy Bowyer in Potosi, Missouri. Floodwaters have overtaken many streets in that area.

This is why the National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued flood warnings for the Meramec River near Sullivan, Missouri. They said "Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even
higher than predicted" and that's exactly what's happened.

This is what Potosi streets looked like yesterday.

Potosi isn't the only part of Missouri suffering from flooding. Check out this video captured in Joplin earlier today.

The severe weather pattern isn't over yet, either. Parts of Missouri are expected to see more rain and storms between now and the weekend. The flooding some in Missouri are experiencing may only get worse.
