For many in Illinois, November 15, 2025 was a payday, but there's one person in the state that just had one of the biggest paydays ever after they walked out of a Walmart store $350,000 richer.

This is the Walmart located at 3315 N University Street in Peoria that the Illinois Lottery says a big winner visited on November 15, 2025. Here's the kicker, though. Whoever the winner is does not seem to know it yet since they are listed on the Illinois Lottery's Unclaimed Prizes page as of this writing. It says that a mystery winner picked up a Lucky Day Lotto ticket and really did have a lucky day pocketing $350,001. Sorry that I initially shorted them $1. The good news is this mystery winner has a full year to realize their good fortune (literally) and come forward to claim their prize. I'm just gonna guess, but it's likely this person is aware and is in the process of getting all their ducks in a row before they come forward to claim their big win.
