Passenger Seriously Injured in Adams Co Crash

A one-vehicle crash results in serious injuries for a Mendon, Illinois woman. Adams County Deputies rushed to the scene near Mendon shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies say 21-year-old Dani Welsh of Quincy lost control of her SUV on North 1903^rd Lane at East 1000^th Street.  The vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a fence.

A passenger, 40- year-old Angel Shoop of Mendon sustained serious injuries and was taken to Blessing Hospital.  Deputies say Shoop was not wearing a seat belt.

Welsh and another passenger, 30-year-old Isaac Hildebrand of Quincy escaped injury.

Deputies cited Dani Welsh for No Valid Driver’s License and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
