Paddles For a Purpose for Alzheimer’s Association is Tomorrow

Paddles for a Purpose will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, May 21) night at the Christ Lutheran Church located at 333 South 36th Street in Quincy.  The proceeds from the evening will go benefit the Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's.The doors will open at 5:30 with the bidding beginning at 6:30. The paddles needed for bidding cost just $1 and you are welcomed to bring your own snacks and drinks to the event. There will also be vendors on hand as well.

Paddles for a Purpose is set up like "Quarter Madness" ...  people buy a paddle for a $1.00 that has a number on it and when there is an item that they are interested in, they simply put in the appropriate pre-set bidding amount (usually it is either a quarter or fifty-cents) and then like "bingo" a number is drawn out...

If the number that is drawn out corresponds with the # on the paddle that they purchased and are holding up, they win the item. If anyone has questions or wants to reserve a table,contact Paddles for a Purpose on their Facebook page.
