Missouri Man Accused of Terrible Crimes that Began 25 Years Ago
An investigation by the Missouri Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies has led to charges of terrible crimes against a Missouri man that allegedly began 25 years ago.
The Missouri Highway Patrol announced in a press release that John R. Reed, 61, of Mountain Grove, Missouri has been arrested and charged with truly terrible crimes that started more than two decades ago. He is accused of three counts of statutory sodomy.
The statement from Missouri authorities say that John R. Reed was alleged to have sexually molested three victims in two different residences in Ozark County, Missouri. The results of the investigation that happened in March of 2024 has led the prosecuting attorney in Ozark County to charge him with three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy.
The Missouri Highway Patrol is reporting that he is being held without bond pending the formal filing of charges. They emphasize in their statement that these allegations are not evidence of guilt and that the accused is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
