I just saw this bulletin from the National Weather Service in St. Louis, Missouri. they have a special weather statement that warns of the potential for severe weather with northern Missouri being the most at risk starting later in the day Saturday, August 9, 2025. Here's the map they shared showing the Missouri counties most at risk.

They say that northern Missouri can expect "isolated 60 mph wind gusts and heavy rain due to strong, possibly repeating thunderstorms." Some parts of northern Missouri will likely see localized flooding as there are some places who may receive a dump of several inches of rain over the weekend over a relatively short period of time.
