Ollie's Bargain Outlet has announced two imminent grand openings in Missouri. The first will be on October 9, 2025 at 1060 Washington Square in Washington, Missouri in this former Big Lots building.
The 2nd Ollie's Bargain Outlet grand opening in Missouri will happen at 303 E Battlefield in Springfield on October 23, 2025 in what used to be this Big Lots building.
What does Ollie's Bargain Outlet specialize in?
The brand claims it is the "largest retailer of closeout merchandise and excess inventory since 1982" and they describe their stores as "semi-lovely" which is 50% more lovely than I'll ever be. That's a fact. They say they buy leftover stock when a company or educational institution closes for cash and then they resell at a lower rate than some other retailers are able to. They seem to be growing quickly and being able to take over closed down Big Lots stores is allowing them to do it even quicker.
