I know that I've had this frozen dinner in my freezer on a regular basis and I would guess that's the case for others, too. One of Illinois' most popular frozen meals is now under an urgent recall due to a choking incident.

This brand new bulletin from the Food and Drug Administration says that Nestle USA is cooperating with authorities on a recall of some of their most popular frozen dinners. After a choking incident was reported to Nestle due to a foreign material, they are pulling the following Stouffer's frozen meals:

  • Lean Cuisine® Butternut Squash Ravioli
  • Lean Cuisine® Spinach Artichoke Ravioli
  • Lean Cuisine® Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry
  • STOUFFER’S® Party Size Chicken Lasagna

These meals were produced between August of 2024 and March of 2025.

They emphasize that none of their other Stouffer's meals are affected by this recall. They are investigating how this foreign material ended up in these meals.

If you find that you have one of these recalled frozen meals, you can return them to where you purchased them for a replacement or full refund. Be sure to check out the full FDA bulletin for more details and potential updates to this concerning food recall.
