Central Illinois Man Claims He Saw Creature as Tall as His Garage

With all of the wildlife you can potentially see in Illinois, you never know what you might spot when you look outside at night. A central Illinois man claims that he and his wife saw a creature next to his garage that was at least as tall as the structure.

I just checked out the story of a man named Butch who shared his story with Bigfoot Society on their podcast. Butch says he lives in the central part of Illinois and had quite an encounter in November.

Butch - "About a week or two before, the neighbor was wondering where his chickens were disappearing and we thought coyotes or whatever had gotten ahold of them, but I don't think that's what happened".

It was late one night after he and his wife were awoken in the middle of the night by...something.

Butch - "We got up right around 11:30 (or) quarter to 12...we're standing there in the kitchen...to the south of us is an old garage...we're looking out toward there...me and my wife stood there and looked at him...and he's standing there next to the corner of the garage...his head is ABOVE the bottom part of the garage itself...we locked eyes".

Both Butch and his wife said the encounter lasted 15 to 20 seconds before the creature suddenly just disappeared. He could not figure out how the creature had escaped so quickly leaving very little trace.
