How a Missouri Woman’s Car Trouble Led to Unexpected Riches
There are few things worse than trouble with a vehicle. One Missouri woman's day started with that terrible challenge, but how it ended resulted in unexpected riches.
The phrase "blessing in disguise" has rarely been more appropriate than this. A few days ago earlier in December, a Missouri woman started her day learning that her car wouldn't start. She called one of her grandkids to drive her around to run errands. Little did she know that her day was about to make a big turnaround.
She asked her granddaughter to stop by this Missouri quick stop place at 8434 Highway 24 in Taylor, Missouri.
According to the Missouri Lottery, she went in and grabbed a Silver Bells ticket. “We scratched it off and my granddaughter about died!” she joked, recalling the moment she uncovered the $100,000 prize. Cha-ching.
The next stop for this Missouri grandmother was to the lottery headquarters to claim her six-figure prize.
Just goes to show you that a bad start to a day might be a blessing waiting to happen. I don't know about you, but I'd trade a day of car trouble for a hundred grand anytime.
